A little off the main strip is one of my go to favorites for a taste of old world Nantucket. A gam of sailors, tradesmen, fisherman, CEOs, tourist, locals and the like come to indulge is some of the best dishes island has to offer.

Rent a bike or an electric bike (it’s a long ride ) and head out on the Polpis Road bike loop for a scenic 17 Mile loop of the eastern end of the island. You will pass by the moors, cranberry bogs, Sankaty Light house and the quaint village of Sconset. Get a little sugar snack at the Sconset market and take a stroll around one of the prettiest spots on the island. See if you can find the 1676 house!
