Nothing beats a good China town market. Paddy's is a bric-a-brac market with a foodcourt, shopping and asian groceries. In the heart of Chinatown. It will take you about 45 minutes to get here from the apartment, but a great place for some authentic asian cuisine.

Public transport is easy!
Sydney is such an easy place to get around once you get used to the buses and timetables.
If you're not renting a car to get around, there's an app called Trip View lite I recommend to get the latest routes, their details and updates on the go.

Summers in Mosman
Wether you love to swim or not, our local beach is a beauty.
With only a 10-15minute walk down the Balmoral slopes, you're going to want to pack a swimsuit to enjoy this gorgeous beach. Locals swim in the ocean year round, even when it gets cold, but on Summer days this is the best way to cool down.
There are plenty of activities and restaurants at the beach, so grab your towel and come on down.

The Mosman Summer bus
In summer there is a free shuttle bus operating from Spit Junction (Sat and Sun only) to Balmoral Beach, ferries go to Mosman Wharf and a bus connects to Mosman Village. Walk down Raglan Street to Balmoral beach, it’s a long winding road down a very steep hill - but you can catch the free shuttle back up.
