Food scene

Local farmers market. Highly recommended. Local seafood, meat, veggies and produce direct from the growers. Every Tuesday from 3pm until sold out. Don’t be late, most of the good stuff is gone by 330.

Nice café with good food and coffee one street back from the main street. Mogo is a quirky little town with several art, second handbooks and homewares shops. If you are heading north to go home (towards Canberra or Sydney), it can be a good place to stop for lunch and a browse.

Sightseeing

If you enjoy walking, we highly recommend the Bingi Dreaming Track. You can pick it up from the south end of Congo Road (just before the bitumen turns to gravel). The walk along to Bingi Beach is 8km. You can also drive down to Bingi beach: its a beautiful spot.
