The paddle wheel ferry is a great way to see some of Long Lake. There are several different trips to choose from and the prices are very reasonable.
Avid skiers will enjoy down hill skiing at Shawnee Peak. Both day and night skiing are available. The resort is known for having the most night skiing in New England. There are learn-to-ski packages and value priced deals that specifically cater to skiing families. You will find several eateries on top of the mountain. The drive is only 18 miles.
