For dinner, you’d want to go to a restaurant to sample the Saigonese fair in a comfortable yet charmed setting. Here’s my top 3 places to go to. Everyone I bring to these places always have great things to say after every meal.
CUC GACH QUAN I ‘Cuc Gach Quan’ literally means ‘at my grandmother’s’. This charming 2-storey villa was converted to give an authentic Saigonese home to give a ‘homestyle cooking’ experience. If you want to experience how it is to eat in your Vietnamese granny’s country-side home, come here. The space is warm and inviting and the food is unpretentiously presented. Book ahead!
