The 3.4 square mile neighborhood of Waikiki on the south shore of Honolulu on the island of Oahu, was once a playground for Hawaiian royalty. Today, it’s a vibrant gathering place for visitors from around the world who enjoy world-class shopping, dining, entertainment and countless activities!
Standing stately at the eastern edge of Waikiki’s coastline is Diamond Head and the Gold Coast. Near the base of Diamond Head, you’ll find plenty of fun for the whole family at Kapiolani Park with the Honolulu Zoo and Waikiki Aquarium. It would be difficult to find a better place to enjoy a beautiful Hawaiian sunset than the beaches of Waikiki – not to mention Friday Night Fireworks, too! Fortunately, most Waikiki vacation rentals are just a couple of blocks from the beach!
The island of Oahu has so many points of interest including favorites like Pearl Harbor, Iolani Palace, Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve, the Nuuanu Pali Lookout and more!
