This is a great place if you want a nice easy hike with a lot of wildlife. we come here quite often, sometimes with our dogs. much of the path is paved, the other part is very compact crushed stone.

In the summer and fall, the old field is filled with blooming wildflowers like butterfly weed. In late-July and early-August, the flowers attract field birds and many varieties of butterflies.
