It opened on 28 March 2015.Interesting about Imago shopping mall is the non-strata title of the shop lots, which I understands to mean that the mall owns all the shops. This is good news for shoppers for 2 reasons.
1st, because the mall management owns everything, there's a high incentive to maintain the mall and not neglect the property like is the case with older malls in KK.
2nd, In theory this means the management can make sure there's variety and quality, and get rid of shops that sell junk that doesn't attract any shoppers.

Art enthusiasts, feast your eyes on what Sabah Art Gallery. Marvel at the details of the unique ‘basket’ shaped building with decorative cultural motif panels of the indigenous people of Sabah. The building also happens to be the 1st Green building in Sabah and Borneo with silver accreditation by the Green Building Index Accreditation Panel in 2012.
With over 3000 paintings, carvings, and sculptures featured, the gallery plans and showcases more than 12 exhibitions annually to showcase new artists, new themes as well as new approaches in art.

Linangkit Cultural Village
Situated in Kampung Selupoh—approximately an hour’s drive away from the heart of Kota Kinabalu—the Linangkit Cultural village promises an in-depth look into the rich social and cultural heritage of the Lotud people of Sabah.

Nestled besides the Penampang River are the many traditional buildings that make up the Monsopiad Cultural village, a living museum located 16 km or about half an hour away from the KK City Centre. Monsopiad was a fearsome warrior who lived in the village of Kuai nearly 200 years ago.
