Here has 경의서슾길 (Gyeongui line forest) you may walk to get Hongdae (about an hour).
It is pretty new street and beside of street has nice cafes,restaurants,sweets and shops.
My favorite place to walk around :)

Mapo bridge. One of my favorite place to visit anytime, because it will change the face anytime.
At daytime with sunshine makes you fresh as everything is bright! At night car lights,late workers in buildings and Han-river make you stop at there and just thinking how things are going around you.
I mainly like to hold a beer and cross the bridge to Yeouido!
You can find your way to enjoy there!

I mainly like to hold a beer and cross the bridge to Yeouido!

To ride on bicycle! You can walk from the house about 40mins, or take subway Line 5 to get "Yeouinaru station" then come out from ext3, walk down to hangang (river). Actually there is many place you can rent a bicycle :)
There is rental bicycle shop you can use from about 10am ~ 6pm (you should check at there) and price is 3,000won/h for single, 6,000won/h for twin bicycle. If you take 2h then will be bit cheaper :)
Also when you get a ticket then Keep it well! That's the only thing you can get your ID back. (when you rent, you need to deposit your ID like passport)
