by 219, 908 or 487 bus. station is in front of house. IMHO most picturesque Moscow park, ideal in all weather. There are two main route. First is from Kolomenskoe methrostation (if you come by 219 bus), enter from historical churches and remains of the tsar palace. One of two churches has rare design (like on 10 ruble note). Most picturesque is the view on Moscow river from viewing point. It also has beautiful embankment. A lot of flower Second route is from Kashirskaya methrostation (if you come by 908 or 487 bus). Сharming route through Soviet recreation infrastructure. Best entrance is from Krimskiy Val street (Octyabrskaya methrostation - 15 min from house). Then walking through pioneers ponds and other Soviet sculptures which harmoniously coexist with modern playgrounds to embankment. If front of you is grandiose Soviet building of the Ministry of Defense. Sightseeing

Strongly reccomended to plan in advance as there is deficite of tickets. I reccomend to go from Tretyakovskaya methrostation. It enable to soak in the spirit of old Russian Moscow. Then passing by Bolshoy Tolmachevskiy pereulok (comfortable pedestrian zone) come to Bolshaya Yakimanka street. Here is the point where meets modern Moscow with luxary restraunts, botiques and traffic jam with Soviet arcitecture mostly presented by so called houses build in Stalin epochy and simbol of Soviet industry Red October confectionery and so called House on embankment. In front of all of it after Bolshoy Kamenny Most (Big Stone Bridge) there is Moscow Kremlin, biggest medieval fortress in Europe.
