The park is located east of Crivitz. Take GG out of Crivitz east about three miles, then turn left on Noquebay Road.

The park is located east of Crivitz. Take GG out of Crivitz east about three miles, then turn left on Noquebay Road.
(5 Acres) provides a view of Green Bay of Lake Michigan, swimming access, lake & stream fishing, boat landing, and picnic areas. The park & boat landing are located just south of the City of Marinette. From the intersection of University Avenue and Shore Drive, go 2 miles south on Shore Drive.

Sightseeing

(66 Acres) features a spectacular waterfall, picnic area with playground, trout fishing, and a bridge over the roaring Pike River. The park is just off Hwy 141, one mile south of Amberg. The entrance sign is right on the highway. A beautiful County Park on the Pike River, Dave’s Falls is just south of Amberg on Hwy. 141. The park includes two waterfalls with unique rock formations.

(66 Acres) features a spectacular waterfall, picnic area with playground, trout fishing, and a bridge over the roaring Pike River. The park is just off Hwy 141, one mile south of Amberg. The entrance sign is right on the highway. A beautiful County Park on the Pike River, Dave’s Falls is just south of Amberg on Hwy. 141. The park includes two waterfalls with unique rock formations.
Located on the Pike River, take Hwy. K to the east just south of Amberg. Go about 1/4 mile down K to the power lines. Park in the power line right of way and take a short walk north to the river. A path takes you a short distance down river to the falls.

Located on the Pike River, take Hwy. K to the east just south of Amberg. Go about 1/4 mile down K to the power lines. Park in the power line right of way and take a short walk north to the river. A path takes you a short distance down river to the falls.
Continue east on Hwy 8 a short distance to Old Cty. Road A, where you’ll turn south and go approximately 2 miles to the first bridge. Carney Rapids is not a waterfall, but an area of rushing water that can be viewed from the road just to the west of the bridge.

To view the Eighteen Foot Falls you will follow some treacherous terrain along a high cliff. Keep close tabs on children. Rocky and hilly terrain make good walking shoes a must!

This lovely park offers cabins and lodges, scenic bridges and walkways, a picnic area, a children’s play area, a campground, and a unique, covered firepit.

This lovely park offers cabins and lodges, scenic bridges and walkways, a picnic area, a children’s play area, a campground, and a unique, covered firepit.

There are many photographs and documents that help provide a visual description of Ambergs’ history. Ancestry research help is available.

Brook, brown and rainbow trout have all been raised at the rearing station, however, it has been found that the cold water from the Thunder River is more suited for raising brown trout.
