Amazing mexican food for a great price! This was voted #1 Mexican Restaurant in St Louis. Parking is horrible but it's about half a mile from our house if you're up for a walk. Also the wait is usually so long, we order ahead of time on the phone and pick it up to bring back to the house. Our favorite dish is the shrimp chimichanga!

I love Momo's! I'm not even crazy about Greek food but everything here is freaking delicious! They always have groupons that get you $30 of food for $15. The restaurant is beautiful and there's lots of seating. You'll love anything you order here!

Jeni's has been rated one of the top 10 ice cream shops in the US. That doesn't even do it justice. This isn't any ordinary ice cream. First of all, it's super rich and creamy. Secondly, the flavors are bizarre. They mix real ingredients like alcohol, spice, flowers, cheese, etc into their ice cream. It sounds gross but tastes amazing! They're all about letting you try as many flavors as you want. My favorites are pear riesling, wildberry lavendar, anything with goat cheese, and super dark chocolate. Get a trio, not a single scoop. I have never been to Grant's Farm but there's a lot of things for children to do here. Even my adult friends go for apple picking and hanging out. Definitely check out their website. It's a very popular place in St Louis.

City Museum was a 10-story factory converted into a HUGE playground! You can spend half a day here easily. Most of it is indoors too which is great for poor weather days. This is not just for children, adults love it too. The main playground area has so many tunnels, hidden slides, caves, things to climb, etc. Be super careful bringing children 12 & under - it's very easy to get lost. I lost my adult friends for over an hour before. This is really best for kids age 7. But there is so much to do - arts & crafts section, food, 10-story slides, ferris wheel, performances, a skate park, a ball pit, etc. Admission for one adult is about $14. This is a must-do activity if you have active children.

You can find pretty cheap tickets for Cardinals games. However, parking nearby is $20, otherwise you can walk for something cheaper. Otherwise, use the Delmar Metro Rail Park n Ride. Rail tickets are $2.50 each way per adult. The metro has a stop right by the stadium and is pretty safe to use before and after cardinals games since there's so many people.

This is not the closest walmart to us, but it is the closest walmart that's open 24/7, should you need to make a run in the middle of the night. Kirkwood is a safe neighborhood, so this is a safe place to drive to at night. It is a bit of a drive though.
