Beach Road Wine Bar and Bistro is a great place to relax with a cocktail and really good food with a pretty view of the Bay! I think this place is romantic but I have also brought our teens here. Super cute beachy souvenir shop next door. While my husband is ordering - I sneak away for quick shopping which is never a good idea after a couple wines but still fun!

I love to give my parents gift certificates to Venice Theater for the holidays as it is one of their favorite activities! Great restaurants near the Theater - I'd highly suggest "Made in Italy."

Publix is my favorite grocery store and only about a 6 minute drive away. There is also 3 popular restaurants, watersports rentals, a convenience store & a cute souvenir shop only about 10 minute walk down our beach. We have a free laundry room on-site at blue starfish beach resort with new front loader Samsung washer & dryers plus board games & book library in laundry room.

This place is very convenient right on Manasota key if you forget anything but of course it is much less expensive to drive slightly off the key to dollar tree, Publix grocery store or Walmart

This is a very popular diner with the locals - not much atmosphere but friendly with great prices! Good option for breakfast lunch or dinner and you can also pick up from there. Best to go a little bit off hours because it can get busy especially in prime season.
