CLOSED OCT 2015. Pub and good food located only 200m walking distance from my home. Large garden with views over the valley and fields. Excellent ales and food. Bookings recommended for evening meals.

Wonderful stately home and extensive parklands with wild deer herd roaming around. Home of the world famous 3 day equestrian event, the Burghley Horse trials held every September.

Really nice village Inn set on a village green on the Rothschild estate. Pub named for the butterfly, some of the famous butterfly collection on show in the pub. Good food and a great summer location.
