OK, that might be a bit of an hyperbole, but truly, they go out of their way to provide a twist on classics, using farm/fresh ingredients. To wit: their breakfast sandwich. It's monstrously good! This is NOT a place where you'll see a lot of tourists. It's a Montrealer's secret!

I haven't visited their new location (and so sad they moved, they were just a couple of blocks away, formerly!), but I can vouch for their food. The Poutine Momo is crazy heavy, spicy and delicious. Vegan does not necessarily mean healthy, remember? Lol!
Do check out this place and see for yourself. Variety, taste, just indulge in something different and delicious.

It's massive, eclectic architecture (especially inside, comparing the lower level crypt and the upper level Basilica) will surprise you and once you've reached the Basilica, don't forget to take in the view by exiting through the back doors. From the darkness of the Basilica, you'll emerge on top of Montreal.
