One of the oldest and best botanical gardens in the world! Even on a wet day, Kew has plenty to offer thanks to the enormous glass houses and galleries contained within the grounds. On sunny days enjoy a picnic or stroll through the expansive lawned and shady wooded areas. Botanical specimens large and small from around the world - a Japanese garden, a Chinese garden, desert, jungle, savannah, temperate zones - these are all represented here and more. The gift shop and cafés are also really good.

A huge open space in South-West London where King Henry VIII once hunted deer on expeditions from his palace at Hampton Court... These days the deer population is 'managed' and you can enjoy long walks, bicycle rides and picnics surrounded by trees and nature.
