Sightseeing
Iftane beach
This is a lovely beach a bit far from all located south from Sidi Kaouki. You need a good car to get there as you have 10 km of dirt reoad to get there, but it can be the occasion of a nice day excursion. There are few fishermen shops on the beach, but I would suggest to bring a pick nic and water. Just in case!
Tafadna beach
Another beautiful beach southern, past Smimou, you will need about one hour to go from Essaouira. Long beach where you can all the space you wish. Make sure you don’t go in a windy day though! You can stop for lunch at l’Ane Vert a nice eco lodge in the area.
Endless sand beach named from a local Saint. Surf, horse or camel rides, easy restaurants and sport activities are all around. From Sidi Kaouki other wild beach can be reached in few minutes by car.

Tafedna
Beautiful excursion to the farest beach (1 hour). This place it deserves the visit!
Shopping
Shopping in Essaouira is fun and less bothering that the larger souk of Marrakech. In the medina, you also have some fancy places like Hija, Histoire de Filles, Villa Maroc’s boutique...Few but good carpet shops and a good artisans cooperative working silver and the popular Tuya wood root.
If you look for some Berber antique you can pay a visit to Abdallah antique shop, near Place de l’Orologe, along the walls.
The village of Smimou offers a very nice Sunday souk, gasoline, and larger shopping. Also, it is the point of departure for nice discoveries: Imintlit, Ait Daoud, Ihahan..

Lovely beachtown in front of Atlantic sea. Art, music, charme and a very relaxed atmosphere will conquer all visitors! Superb fish market place with a large choice of fresh fish and seafood.
I suggest a nice lunch at Le Chalet de la Plage, on the beach front, or in the old town at Mandala, Triskala, Samaresh or Da Silvestro for a good pizza. Taros Cafe for a hint of local night life.

Historical crossing point for caravanes heading to Marrakech with Western Africa treasures, Tidzi hosts today one of the oldest Argan female Cooperatives of Morocco: Ajjddigue. Local souk is held on Thursday. Local delicacy is argan goat meat. You can find several basic shops in Tidzi during the week including grocery, milk, bread, chicken, water...A small shop is close to the farm, about 500 mt, it is possible to walk there with our land keeper for a first shopping.
