Tamparuli is home of our local signature noodle dish Tuaran Mee, it is a must try, if you prefer not have roast pork toppings, just tell the waiter to replace with chicken or veggies. They have other home made breakfast specialties too like chicken feet and steamed pork ribs, must get there super early like 6am!

Sightseeing
Take a walk on Jambatan Tamparuli, this is Sabah's famous 50m hanging bridge connecting pedestrians from Kiulu to Tamparuli market, on a clear morning, you can even see Mt Kinabalu as you stand in the middle of the bridge. This bridge even inspired a popular local song! Running parallel below the bridge is an old causeway for motorists to cross over the river on sunny days. It is closed when heavy downpour occurs in this area as the river rises over the road.

It is a vibrant and very social atmosphere, fantastic for people watching and of course pick up some farm fresh groceries
