Lulworth Cove is a beautiful secluded area. It's world famous for its unique geology and land forms. People go to enjoy the panoramic views and crystal clear waters on this stretch of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. This is a must-visit destination on Dorset's Jurassic Coast. Nearby is Durdle Door, another of the Jurassic Coast’s most iconic landscapes. It is a natural arch, formed from a layer of hard limestone standing almost vertically out of the sea. Entertainment & Activities

Many know the Shelley Manor building because of its associations with Mary Shelley, the author of Frankenstein. Her husband, Sir Percy Shelley, had a timber theatre built in the Boscombe Manor grounds but replaced it with the current grander theatre which was opened in 1870 with a public performance. Many of their friends acted and came to see shows including Sir Henry Irving and Robert Louis Stevenson (who wrote Jekyll and Hyde in Bournemouth). In recent years the theatre has been revived and offers great value entertainment with an eclectic mix of entertainment from small stage shows to comedy nights. http://www.shelleytheatre.co.uk/

Sightseeing

Corfe Castle is a thousand-year-old castle shaped by warfare. It's one of Britain's most iconic and evocative survivors of the English Civil War, partially demolished in 1646 by the Parliamentarians. It offers breathtaking views across the Purbeck. The surrounding village is constructed almost completely from the local grey Purbeck limestone and comprises two main streets linked at their north end at the Square. Around the square, with its cross commemorating Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee of 1897, are clustered the unique small collection of shops, pubs, restaurants, teahouses, a church and two free museums. https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/corfe-castle
