Want a cheap and cheerful meal near by? Silvas or Frangos which is just round the corner might be just the thing. But be warned, Petersham is famous for its chicken and the lines can be long!

This establishment is well-loved amongst the Portuguese community and for good reason. The BBQ meats are excellent. We recommend the Beef Espetada (skewer). It is only available for dine-in. Silvas do not have a website. They are located at 82-86 New Canterbury Rd Petersham. Important to note they are closed on Mondays.
