The Konza Prairie should absolutely be on your bucket-list!There are several different hikes to choose from, but please note dogs are forbidden on the trails! The preserve is protected for native flora and fauna which gives visitors the chance to experience truly native tallgrass prairie-lands.

It's the Flint Hills of Kansas! We love to hike the Konza and enjoy the views in all the seasons

We love this place! If your visiting Kansas and want to see stunning views of the local grasslands this is the place to be! There are three hiking trail loops, (3, 6 & 8 miles) and stunning views at the top of the hill where you can see for miles around. Great for families, individuals or groups but I would not advise strollers. The trail could be a struggle for small kids and pets are not allowed.

See the beauty of the Kansas prairie and wildlife! Great location for a long nature hike and/or watching the sunset.
