Streets on the river are literally filled with restaurants and bars. If you (or your significant other...) are indecisive, this is the perfect place to do some browsing and let your eyes and nose lead the way.

Navigli District hosts the famous Fiera di Sinigaglia, the traditional flea market that takes place each Saturday morning, and is a popular meeting point for alternative young Milanese. Here you can find vintage and used clothes, as well as antiques, design objects, comics, prints and old books. Tips : An Annual Flower Market is traditionally held on the streets in April, selling plants, flowers and garden equipment. Make sure to have cash, since often credit cards are not accepted. On the last Sunday of each month, except July, the district hosts the famous Navigli’s Antiques Street Market. This is a busy market and you should pay attention to pickpockets. Plan to stay: 1-2 hours
