The MFS screens films in the newly renovated Maleny Community Centre which seats 220, showing the best of world cinema. The MFS has become a valued cultural and social institution to Maleny.

Every second Saturday MFS have a film in the Community hall. Dinner is available and a bar is available

Enjoy the offbeat and thought provoking films to be seen every 2nd Saturday night at the Maleny Community Centre. An Art House Theater of quality selected movies shown in the traditional way films where shown in the country. Come early and share a meal along with a beer or glass of your favorite wine before being introduced personally to the film being shown. Be warned there are NO adds and each the films I have seen here have invariably left me being moved by the content.

The Maleny Film Society runs a film night every few weeks on a Saturday night where you can also have dinner. Check their website or the Maleny Tourist Information for the next show.
