For beer-lovers, purists and the just plain nostalgic the White Lion serves a selection of real ales straight from cask to glass on their traditional stillage. Only a handful of pubs in East Anglia still do it this way: no gas, no pumps, just a cooling jacket to maintain optimum temperature. Apparently the original and best method to ensure a perfect pint.

The White Lion is our local favourite. It is a country pub and restaurant only 5 minutes drive away. It is full of rural charm and character, set in picturesque surroundings near to the River Waveney; the perfect backdrop for savouring their menu and the nurtured ales and wines nestled behind their bar.
