Great food, lots of seating area but does get busy. Lots of gifts to look at and a garden nursery is attached. A good few hours can be spent here.

At the centre of everything is the coffee bar, situated in the old shippon. They serve a variety of Artisan Coffees, Specialist Teas, and Milkshakes, as well as a large selection of home-baked cakes and biscuits. Looking for something a little more filling? You can also order from their extensive restaurant menu. Seating is limited in the coffee bar so make sure to get in early, and the gallery upstairs makes for a snug little hide-away when you need to get away from it all. Their menu offers a selection of light lunches of filled baguettes, baked potatoes and croissants. They have soup of the day made in their kitchen as well as specials board. If you're not tempted by any of these or any of their home made cakes and scrummy sweets, why not try one of their famous home made scones, fresh baked with double cream and jam, or even one of our sinfully gorgeous ice cream sundaes? The Barn's take on England's most beloved ritual, their afternoon teas are now available every day from 2 pm until 4 pm. Starting with a selection of sandwiches, and moving onto homemade cakes and pastries, the crown jewel of their afternoon tea is certainly the homemade scone, laden with strawberry jam and whipped cream. This is all accompanied by your choice of Lancaster Blend tea or Atkinson's Brazilian Blend filter coffee. Due to high demand, booking is essential to ensure a spot for one of their afternoon teas. This traditional feast for the senses is available for just £14.95 per person, or £19.00 if you'd like a little glass of Prosecco as well. Please let them know when booking if you have any allergies or special dietary requirements. Their restaurant seats up to one hundred people in a comfortable rustic settling, with even more space in their beautiful garden dining area. The fully licensed bar boasts a fine selection of beers, wines, and spirits, in addition to a wide variety of soft drinks and smoothies. They have a huge range of dishes to whet your appetite and tickle your taste buds, from their hearty sandwiches and jacket potatoes through to their more filling grill menu. And of course the chips are to die for. In addition to their menu be sure to check out our specials board, full of old favourites and more exotic delicacies. If you're not tempted by any of this, you can satisfy your sweet tooth with any of their cakes and biscuits from the coffee bar, including their locally famous homemade scones, or one of their sinfully delicious Walling's Ice Cream sundaes. The gift shop offers a stunning range of gifts and decorations to suit all tastes. Lavishly furnished with antique shelves set against the original stone walls of the building, the shop has an eccentric charm and warmth of character. They offer a number of speciality preserves, chutneys, and chocolates, home décor, seasonal cards and decorations, as well as an impressive selection of Walling's Ice Cream.
