If you can handle the overwhelming smell of stearin (paraffin wax) this massive candle factory and candle store is super strange and charming. Featuring a cozy used book store and a Christmas display in the basement.

Løiten Lys is a light foundry on Brenneriroa in Løten municipality. The foundry was started in November 1991 as a one-man company in the basement of the disposal house of Løiten Brændi. In 1996, the foundry moved to today's premises in Løiten Brændi. In late December of the same year, the premises were destroyed in a fire, but the foundry reopened in 1997 and is today Norway's largest manufacturer of handmade candles.
