Makaha Beach is world famous and BEAUTIFUL. On the left side of the beach/bay it is much more calm. Towards the right side of the bay is where you can usually watch the surfers and bodyboarders, and even catch some little shorebreak waves yourself. There is a bathroom across the street and usually a local uncle with his little food-truck that sells shave ice and hot dogs.

Beautiful, wide, long Beach, 21 acre park, great surfing beach especially in winter when waves are high. Great snorkel beach when water is calm. Parking is off road.
