Right down the hill, this beach is walk-able (ride-able if you have a horse). Waves here vary in strength depending on the season. If the waves are large and strong and breaking hard, the undertow can be dangerous here. Best to keep walking westward to Balneario Monserrate where the waves are always calmer, and safe for kids. Playa Fortuna is right next to/ just west of Los Kioskos if you're hungry or feel like a drink. Lots of choices there.
