Austin's Eclectic East Side on E 5th and 6th for another night out with great spots like Shangrila and Ah Sing Den. Thursdays have great dance music at Ah Sing Den but get there early! It fills up fast. Try Gabriela's for great Mexican food.

We’re talking about Austin’s East Side, east of interstate 35, from 7th Street south to Cesar Chavez, great area for dining and drinks ( not to be confused with the numbered streets just east of Congress Avenue). The Eastside is east of I-35. Zilker Brewing, Cisco’s for breakfast or lunch, The White Horse live music and dancing, Whisler’s for drinks, Shangri La dive bar, Latchkey Patio dive bar, Lichas Mexican restaurant, Buenos Aires restaurant, Hotel Vegas dive bar live music.
