The United States Air Force Academy (USAFA), is one of the nations premier military institutions. We aren't sure if the base is currently open to the public with COVID restrictions, but if you are able to make it on base we highly recommend walking the grounds that are open to the public. The visitors center is great and the Chapel (currently under renovation) is inspired!

The US Air Force Academy, home of the Falcon, is a must-see campus just north of Colorado Springs. On a clear day, look for cadet parachute training and gliders near the Academy airport just west of I-25. Tailgate and take in a football game with Air Force fly byes to embrace the full experience.
