Such a pretty part of our little town. it has a small museum with lots of history. A little trail on the other side of the locks is always fun. Hiking trail along hwy 520 leads you from the locks to a park with a public beach and outdoor gym. Go for ice cream in the small french fry stand by the Home Hardware in the summer. Bring your own boat and boat to town from the cottage.

Walk and explore the lock water system, cross over to the little island for a nice easy hike loop.

Centennial Park just across from the locks has a great park and public swimming area.

Visit the Historic Magnetawan Locks. Walk across and see gorgeous views and continue onto the island for the short hiking trail with lake views all around.
