Perhaps the most "Fort Worth" restaurant in the city. Get the jalapeno mac & cheese!

Some of the best dining in downtown Fort Worth with a rooftop terrance with views of downtown. Delicious steaks and Mexican food options. For the full experience, order the carne asada with the cheese enchilada on top!

Reata is my favorite downtown restaurant. It’s pricey but the portions are big. I highly recommend the enchiladas. It’s one of my favorite meals in Fort Worth.

310 Houston St (10min drive) Upscale, “Cowboy chic” restaurant. A bit pricey for the food, but it’s the rooftop that’s the real draw. Tip: weather permitting, definitely get a spot on the rooftop. Good for a drink before a show.

“2201 N Commerce St Hugely popular landmark known for its beautiful, sprawling patio. Food: average. Margaritas: strong. Cash only. (ATM on site.) Limited menu: Fajitas, enchiladas, nachos, and tacos. Tip: great for groups, if the weather’s nice. Reservations for large groups only. Expect a wait.”

“Located in Sundance Square Plaza, Bird Café is a newly renovated split-level restaurant that serves brunch, lunch, and dinner. Boasting beautiful views over the Plaza with a large outdoor patio, the restaurant offers delicious small plates created by Chef David McMillan, who brings a wealth of experience to the Fort Worth dining scene.”

“220 S Sylvania Ave (9min drive) Great local brewery. In addition to their 8 year-round brews, they always have a handful of unique micro-seasonal brews and one weekly taproom-only brew available as well. Their flights are a great deal: $10 for four 8oz pours of your choice. Food trucks, or you can order from Mariachi’s Tacos $ | 🍳 | 👀 | 🌿 | 🌾 | 💎 (2min walk away) Mon-Thu: 4-10p | Fri-Sun: 12-10p”

Sanat Müzesi
“One of the foremost modern art collections in the US. Various movements, themes, and styles are represented. The Permanent Collection includes pieces by Pablo Picasso, Philip Guston, Anselm Kiefer, Robert Motherwell, Susan Rothenberg, Jackson Pollock, Andres Serrano, Cindy Sherman, Andy Warhol. Cafe Modern is a great place to grab lunch, enjoying views of the museum’s reflecting pool. Hours: Mon: Closed. | Tue-Sun: 10a-5p. Admission: $16 for adults (free on Fridays, half-price on Sundays.) Parking: typically free. Located next door to the Kimbell. Might as well do both. (The Amon Carter Museum is also right there and great, too!)”
