Traditional place to get tasty smørrebrød (open sandwiches eaten by most danes for lunch). Smørrebrød are simply slices of rye bread with various combinations of toppings such as pickled herring, roast beef and eggs topped with mayo and shrimps.

Do you want to try some traditional Danish food my favorite place to go is 'Teater Bodegaen'. My alltime favorite on the menu is 'stegt flæsk'.
