Set in the lower hills of the Comeragh Mountains this is a beautiful picturesque location. This is well worth the visit and has much to offer in all seasons.

Mahon Falls is an 80m waterfall nestled in the Comeragh Mountains near Lemybrien, County Waterford. There is a car park close to the falls with a not too strenuous walk to get to them. The dramatic waterfall which is surrounded by breathtaking beauty makes this a worthwhile trip. Visitors can also see sheep and goats dotted along the mountainsides. 22km from Dungarvan.

A walk up to the Mahon Falls in the Comeragh Mountains is a must-do if you have the time. This a 2km path walk from the car-parking area to the base of the Mahon Falls. If you're an experienced hiker and feeling a little more adventurous, you can hike up the side of the Waterfall for a majestic view of the Comeraghs. Wear warm clothing as it can be quite cool and breezy at the top of the mountain. If you like seeing sheep roam free, this is the ideal trail for you.
