Amazing bakery and restaurant in the Champagne Valley. Great play area for kids. Closed on Saturday afternoons and on Sundays.

Filled to the brim with tasty treats, fresh pastries, cakes and tarts and specialty bakes such as croissants and lemon merinque pie, the Valley Bakery is a well known landmark in the Drakensberg. It's a welcome respite if you've been travelling - sit down in the coffee shop and enjoy one of their sandwiches served with their fresh-out-the-oven baked bread and a good cup of coffee. You can also order light meals such as quiches and a variety of salads should you be feeling more than just a little peckish. Also check out their art gallery while you are there.
