To start our trip we choose the appropriate donkey for each hiker. The distance we shall cover is about 3-6 kilometers depending on your courage and includes a break for water and beverages. The path we take is full of old olive trees and vineyards. During our trekking you will learn how to read and understand the donkey's behavior and how to lead and negotiate with your donkey. Walking by the side of the most patient and calm animal is a unique experience that you will remember forever. On this 2.5 hours Street Food Tour you'll see the highlights of the historic center of Naples and taste lots of local specialties. See some of the main sights of the city, including Via dei Tribunali, San Gregorio Armeno, Piazza Bellini, Spaccanapoli and more. While you stroll around the beating heart of Naples I’ll take you to taste the famous Tarallo a traditional snack, salty and crunch that will tickle your taste buds. Savor mouthwatering Mozzarella, stop by one of Neapolitans most famous pizzerias, from 1935, to taste the traditional fried pizza and the wallet pizza, also known as “pizza a portafoglio”. As part of our 5th savory stops, taste the real “frittatina” (fried pasta, with béchamel sauce, ham, meat and peas). It just tastes like heaven! Visit the Limoncello Factory, and taste different kinds of liqueurs. Finally, while we walk through "Spaccanapoli” taste real Italian Ice Cream and sink your teeth into local pastries such as Babà and Sfogliatella from a traditional pastry shop from 1837! Also, one of the best Greek traditional restaurants (mageirio) will be accommodating you for a seated lunch, cheese tasting and of course, you'll try a dessert. During the walk, you'll meet our old friends in the oldest vegetable, fish and meat market of Athens and you'll also try our best wines and distillates of the region. Surrounded by a lunar landscape, we will learn to understand and explore Mount Etna, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for its beauty and uniqueness. Strolling along the largest volcano in Europe, you will admire the imposing volcanic structure with its typical flora and fauna. We will visit one of the most fascinating sites where you can watch the sunset together (you will not see the sun setting but only appreciate the colors). We will enter a lava tube, created during the volcano's eruptions, equipped with a helmet and flashlights. It will be fascinating to discover not only their creation, but also the secrets that they hide so jealously in their darkness.
