You will meet our pack of rescue dogs of all sizes and origins, and help us exercise, socialize and publicize them! It helps these neglected (and sometimes abused) dogs learn to trust people again, and socializes them for public adoption events! We will walk the dogs the length of the Island and back, with great views of the marina, the ocean and across to the Navy yards. You will play with the dogs, help socialize them including treat-time, and get lot's of Instagram worthy photos! Your excursion starts with a short orientation at our office, where I will show on a nautical chart, the area covered during the trip, describing the types of whales and dolphins, as well as other marine life you are likely to see, and where you might see each type. When everyone is comfortably seated on board, we will motor slowly out of the basin, and enjoy a "warm up" stop by the bait receivers to see our California sea lions, and a multitude of different birds. Then the boat will pick up speed for an exhilarating high speed run out to where the whales and dolphins are usually found. Once we have located the animals we slowly approach them, so as not to disturb them. Quite often the dolphins will come directly up to the boat and begin to surf our wake or bow ride in front of us. Whales are observed from a safe distance (as required by law), but still close enough to hear them breathing! What a wonderful sound that is! As the boat heads back to the harbor you can be sure that you have had the experience of a lifetime, one that we hope will be the highlight of your stay in San Diego. We are happy to introduce you to the 60-minute Glow Boat Experience on pedal boats, a romantic night date idea in San Diego Bay! The boat illuminates 360 degrees inside and outside, and riding it after dark is a lot of fun. To complete your experience, a speaker and a small disco ball will make your boat rock'n'roll. Our crew will guide you through Night Bay to ensure you feel safe and know where to go. On an average night, we have a group of 12 boats and two boats with our crew. We will start at America's Cup Harbor, and after short pedaling, you will find yourself in San Diego Bay with a beautiful Night view of Downtown. We will play music, cruise around, and enjoy the skyline. The experience will end at the same location where it started. Pedal boats can accommodate up to 3 adults (600lb maximum weight). No experience is necessary to maneuver these pedal boats; you are good to go if you can ride a bike! You will stay dry all the time! Our staff will take care of you and make sure you enjoy your pedal boat ride with us from start to finish. Each group will get their personal pedal boat or a couple of boats, depending on group size.

Sitting 300 ft above sea level on golden carved out sandstone, overlooking the deep blues and greens of the Pacific Ocean, with cozy seating, ample shade, a deluxe meal, and intimate connection. This location is special because it is more private and awe-inspiring compared to other picnics. You will arrive at the picnic location and be greeted by your host, who will walk you down a trail for around 5-7 minutes to your fully set up picnic. This trail is accessible for beginners but does involve uneven terrain, so good balance and footing is helpful. Once you sit down upon the plush seating, you will be able to soak up the incredible views of this location. Your menu offerings of choice will already be elegantly spread along the table, ready for your enjoyment. For Special Consideration: The group will meet in Old Town San Diego at Rockin' Baja Lobster, a notoriously fun Mexican restaurant! We'll sip our first tequila shot while enjoying chips and a full salsa bar! *Fri, Sat, & Sun 6pm groups meet in Old Town San Diego at Casa de Maria, in the heart of the market-square and birthplace of California. The tour then takes us on a beautiful scenic walk. Guests' are encouraged to stop at some of the many store's to purchase souvenirs along the way. Our next stop is high on the hillside, Old Town Tequila Factory, where we sample another shot of tequila AND enjoy a delicious fish taco on the rooftop patio with a beautiful scenic view that overlooks Downtown San Diego and the San Diego Harbor that gives that perfect backdrop for a selfie! As the tour continues, we learn about the Whaley House, early California, grave sites, historical markers, and other Old Town facts as we pass them by on our way to our final stop. Saving the best for last, the restaurant, bar and tequila museum El Agave. This is a top shelf tequileria and carries over 2,000 tequilas. You will help us free fly our falcons on the cliffs of La Jolla at the Torrey Pines Gliderport, a National Historical Place and beloved landmark. In our Experience, offered through Total Raptor Experience San Diego, you'll learn how to call and release one of our trained birds using a falconry glove, and admire their aerial skills while they soar above the cliffs. You'll get an up-close and personal view of their mastery of flight as they perform simulated hunting behaviors, swooping, ground-skimming and diving at high speed after a moving target. At the same time we will discuss raptor flight styles and how they contribute to the diverse ecologies of different types of hawks and falcons. There will be plenty of time for questions and pictures with our birds. My hope is to send you home with a new, or perhaps renewed, love for these majestic predators and the environment.
