A place of the heart, lovingly restored preserving the ancient beams of the roof. AD MAIORA WALSER CHALET is an emotional conservation restoration of an ancient 14th-century stone and wood chalet. The Monte Rosa mountain range in the background, the Mud stream with its natural pools, and the ancient alleys of the small Ronco hamlet create a unique setting. A private SPA, located in the former stone stable, features a sauna, herbal tea corner, and a heated indoor/outdoor magnesium-salt pool, carved directly into the rock and offering a breathtaking, almost paradisiacal view.

The main bedroom is on the upper floor and the 2nd bedroom (two single beds) and bathroom on the lowest floor. Ideal for couples and families but not for the elderly or groups of 4 adults.

Renovated Walzer house 15 mins by car from Alagna

Our chalet is a renovated "Walzer" style barn. We are a Belgian family with 3 children and a dog and love this remote quiet place in the Valsesia valley. We enjoy hiking in the mountains or just walking in the valley or swimming in the river that passes by on the back of our house. We love skiing in the nearby "Monte Rosa" or "Alpe di Mera" Ski domains (15 or 10 minutes respectively by car) and enjoy cooking with local produce savoring local wines (Gattinara, Ghemme, Barbaresco, Barolo, ...)

Lo chalet è all'interno di in un’oasi verde di prato, pascolo e orti, circondata da una fitta foresta di pini secolari. Ideale per chi cerca tranquillità, il contatto con se stesso e la natura. La vista sui 4000 svizzeri è mozzafiato! Durante la stagione invernale, in caso di nevicate, bisognerà parcheggiare a circa 500 mt dallo chalet, vi aiuteremo volentieri con i vostri bagagli!
