This beautiful cottage was built in 1916, and is rich in local history as it was part of a larger property used by MacRobertson chocolate company for timber production of wooden casks to hold maize syrup. This historical cottage situated on the Yarra river flats has been lovingly restored to accomodate guests requiring wheelchairs and the non-ambulatory. On the bank of the Don River, just 15 minutes from Devonport, the two bedroom unit attached to our home has a private entrance, two queen beds with an extra single bed and/or cot on request. If reserving for 1 or 2 guests, only one bedroom will be accessible unless communicated at the time of booking. The unit has fridge, microwave, coffee machine and dining setting. BBQ in the undercover courtyard for guests. Continental breakfast included. There is no kitchen sink so we do the dishes!
