Ideal base for visiting Leeds, York, Wetherby and Knaresborough (20 mins by car). Plus the Yorkshire Dales, East Coast / North East with excellent close public transport links to these places. Barwick has 3 country pubs, a cafe, an excellent Italian/Pizza takeaway, a newsagent, general store/post office, gift shop, ladies boutique, nearby golf course, farm shop.

A beautiful 2 bedroomed bungalow set in the historic, pretty village of Barwick in Elmet, which boasts the tallest maypole in Britain. Within easy reach of Leeds, York & Harrogate. The village has 3 traditional pubs. Withing 2 miles of Garforth & Crossgates which have train stations. There are lots of public footpaths from the village and a pretty dog walk opposite the house. The Bungalow is dog friendly -up to 2 medium sized, but 'Never' unattended & a strict no smoking policy anywhere.

Set in 4 acres of gardens and woodland, guests can make the most of our peaceful location. Ideal for walkers, cyclists and those looking for a calming retreat.

Totally private with its own access from the driveway with parking for one vehicle. I live to the rear of the annex so am on hand to sort out any problems that may arise through out your stay .

The property is a beautiful maisonette at Station House, an iconic grade 2 listed former railway station built in 1841 .The history of the building can still clearly be seen; indeed your accommodation is in the old waiting rooms overlooking the station platform. Tours of the rest of the site may be available on request, including the old goods shed. Guests have access to the public footpath/cycle way adjacent to the property along the old railway line.
