You may wish to use nearby eateries or make yourself something in the kitchenette (small airfryer, microwave, fridge, hotplate, kettle and toaster provided) we welcome those who wish for a place to stay. A double bed and en suite shower awaits in fresh comfortable surroundings. Open to all but please be aware of access arrangements to the property -access up a lane. Free on street parking is available nearby (100m approx)

The Shipping Container, Springwell

An ‘Amazing Spaces’ inspired shipping container conversion, set in a peaceful secluded wildlife friendly garden, at the foot of the Pennine hills. The container is a 5 minute walk from the picturesque Talkin village which has a friendly pub serving food. A woodburning stove (logs supplied) ensures the container stays cosy in all weathers. It makes an excellent base to explore Hadrian's Wall, the North Lakes and the Eden Valley.. or a perfect stop off point on your way to or from Scotland.

There is a private terrace and patio area to enjoy al-fresco dining or star-gazing.

The cottage enjoys views over the River Eden and the Solway Firth, providing easy access to the Cumbrian Countryside, historic Carlisle, Hadrian's wall, and the Northern Lakes. Rockcliffe's village pub, the Crown & Thistle offers a traditional Cumbrian welcome with excellent local food. The village is on the Reivers cycle route

This is a dog friendly accommodation however any other pet ie cat/donkey/giant python I'm afraid has to be left at home and I ask you keep dog on the leash when around the car park and walkways.
