(Edit 22/12/25: Unfortunately we were affected by the recent fires in Dolphin Sands. Our block was burned, but the Lighthouse itself was saved by firefighters. The beautiful surrounding bush has been lost. See photos) We think our architecturally designed house is a perfect romantic getaway. We built it for the view, so you can relax with a coffee/wine and enjoy the best of Tasmania's east coast, in comfort. Stroll along the deserted beach & read or listen to our record collection by the fire.

Friendlies Rest Coles Bay / Freycinet East Coast

Relax in a peaceful bush setting & connect with nature. This small off grid studio is situated on a 100 acre property located on Freycinet Peninsula, close to Friendly Beaches, Moulting Lagoon & Freycinet National Park. The space is clean, cosy & comfortable with double bed, kitchenette & bathroom. Perfect for one or a couple. Unwind from the days adventure with the gentle sounds of nature, local bird life & ocean swell.. Watch the eagles return home as the sun sets and the stars come out.

The Granny Flat, Bicheno

The Granny Flat is perfect for a one-night stay in Bicheno; simple, clean and affordable (with ocean views). Kick back and relax on the deck with a morning cuppa, or enjoy a sundowner at the end of your day. There are NO cooking facilities, only a microwave, kettle and bar fridge. Dog lovers will be pleased to be greeted by Lulu, our friendly sheepdog. The Granny Flat is at the bottom of our block- you will likely see/ hear our kids in the house. Please note: -No Wifi available - 🚭

Sunny seaside cottage

Relax at this tranquil getaway and take in the amazing view of the ocean from the deck. Leave the blinds open and wake up to a beautiful ocean sunrise. By day, you will see seals lazing on the rocks and may catch a glimpse of whales on their migration. At night, quietly watch for the penguins walking up to their burrows. Shops, restaurants, beaches and boat ramp are all within 15 min walk. Fabulous wineries, great bush walks, National Parks and Wine Glass Bay are within 30 min by car.

Beach House on Burgess - a fantastic central location to relax and explore the picturesque coastal town of Bicheno. The house is extremely comfortable, with bright open plan living and dining, reverse cycle ac, fully equipped kitchen with basic supplies, three large bedrooms, incl. master with ensuite, a seperate main bathroom and laundry. Ocean View Villa is set on a semi-rural property and is a short drive from Bicheno shops. The unit occupies half of the downstairs area of villa and accommodates 4 people with the queen bed in the living area and single beds in the bedroom.

Our Unit is centrally located with great views. Self contained, at end of a quiet street, suitable only for 2 people. We also live on the property in a separate house. The Unit is at the side of the main house and very private. Please note that we offer multiple night discount. Free Parking between big shed and accommodation unit. Very close to Freycinet National Park (Wineglass Bay), Douglas Apsley, Vineyards, Natureworld, & local Penguin tours.

Banksia Bicheno - central location

Apartment is semi-detached. Please keep in mind, the sofa bed suits 2 children or an adult. Free WIFI. parking in driveway. Profile photo of Waubs Bay beach 3 min easy walk. A 5 min walk to town centre. Tourist attractions including Blow Hole,Penguin Tour,Tassie Devil night tour,Nature World for wildlife. Douglas Apsley Gorge. Freycinet National Park is a 30 min drive,then you can walk over to Wine Glass Bay.

The Overnight Pod

Peaceful, centrally located, clean, comfortable and affordable. Please note there are NO cooking facilities and NO television (but there is very fast Starlink wifi). The Pod is a great sleep in/eat out option for the budget traveller (there is a kettle and toaster for your convenience, there is NO microwave). Loads of natural light and a deck to relax in the sun.
