Nestled at the head of Pigeon Hill Bay, our cottage is surrounded by 20 acres of fields, marshland, private walking paths, and a private pebble beach on the ocean with views of the Atlantic. Acadia National Park is nearby (1 hour plus) or take the ferry (20 minutes away) to BarHarbor. Acadia Park Schoodic Point is a must see (20 minutes). Enjoy our kayaks, our recommended day trips, blueberry picking, visiting white-tailed deer. For a full week stay we serve a lobster shore dinner for two.

Walk to our private beach and explore the beautiful coastline and experience dramatic Fundy tides (Up to 21ft between high/low water), or relax on the large deck watching bald eagles glide by. A birders paradise.

Located in the heart of the castalia marsh, a world known bird sanctuary, there is no shortage of wild life which is perfect for nature and bird lovers. Stunning views of the swallow tail lighthouse and the ferry coming and going from the island can be seen from the master bedroom upstairs or private backyard deck and patio. A quick walk to the beach or pond, you’re not too far away to run back for lunch or take an afternoon nap. Also, the house is fully heated and is suitable for the cooler months!

Our 1.4 acre shore-front family retreat began an 18 month renovation Fall of 2018 & only opened recently - Dishwasher, new beds, Hi-speed Internet no data limit.
