‘Beudy’r Esgob’ translates as ‘Bishop’s Barn’ and it used to be a hay barn and cow shed. It adjoins our 14th century farmhouse and lies in the village of Gwalchmai, Anglesey. We are within walking distance to Anglesey Show ground & air strip and 10 minutes drive from Rhosneigr and its beaches. We would be a super base for those visiting Anglesey Circuit at Tŷ Croes as we have plenty of parking space for car trailers. The cottage can sleep up to 4 persons in one double and one twin room. We are a growing smallholding with alpacas, sheep and chickens. We also have two dogs. The cottage is a beautiful barn conversion set in 8 acres of hay fields, woods, streams and ponds and less than 10 minutes from the coast.Large, open plan living area with handmade, fully equipped kitchen area. 2 double bedrooms, both with en-suites. One bedroom on the ground floor, the second bedroom being accessed by its own staircase. ( not from the ladder in living area) Cloakroom, outside sitting/dining area and full use of all the grounds. The cabin has a double bed and a double bed settee to accommodate children. The cabin is self contained and energy efficient and environmentally friendly as is practical.
