Ancient beech, ash and oak woodland rise to the Iron Age fort on Danesborough hill. Whortleberries abound in Summer on the bracken and heather covered slopes. The coast is a 15 minute drive or an hours gentle walk to Kilve. Need more room? Then try its neighbour, and big sister, 'Gorgeous Quantock House'.

Large private gardens feature mature shrubs, flowers, trees, a Jacuzzi, swings and trampoline. Dog friendly. The cottage is 100m from the lane, with parking available. Access is via a gate and mown path across a field. Please note: there is no vehicle access to the cottage.

Rooks Nest is a cosy self contained cottage for 4 people. There is a separate kitchen, lounge/diner with a 43” TV (Netflix) A private enclosed court yard garden with outdoor dining. Venturing further afield you can spend the day on the Jurassic Coast or visit some of the many National Trust properties in the area.
