By the Lake is a welcoming, private suite situated in a beautiful, modern waterfront home with a stunning view over the lake and a lovely garden with a hot tub. Five minutes drive from downtown and 15 minutes from Whitewater ski area, provides refreshing hikes and skiing opportunities close by. Close access to shopping and restaurants. John's Walk lakeside path passes right by the house, leading you to attractive Lakeside Park. Our beach provides a peaceful spot to relax on the lake shore.

The Covehouse - a secluded oceanfront cottage

A beautiful haven, lost in the woods, found by the sea, surrounded by quiet - the WilderGarden Covehouse is a beguiling retreat for those looking for ... something else. Close to parks, on Galloping Goose trail. Walk to pub or bus stop, 12 min to Sooke, 45 min to Victoria, ferry. Sheltered from storms, on a private cove, the Covehouse has a cedar and glass deck, BBQ, dock, hot tub with view, ocean access. Ideal for 1-2 couples, cyclists, paddlers, nature lovers, families, or business.

This private getaway is located on an acre of land right on the Ucluelet Inlet, within walkable distance to Ucluelet town centre amenities and town beaches. Start your day by enjoying a morning coffee on our ocean-front deck, watching seals, kayakers and fishing boats pass by. Explore the wonderful west coast, then retreat to the outdoor shower, sauna or Japanese Ofuro tub to wind down your day. We absolutely love relaxing here and want to share our love for this special place.

A short intermediate private trail will take you down to the beach. The 560 square foot cabin is set back on the property, offering spectacular panoramic views of the Juan de Fuca Straight. This private hotel style suite has its own separate entrance, patio and is the perfect spot to enjoy the beauty and serenity of nature while only being 12 minutes from Osoyoos & 30 minutes from Mt. Baldie ski resort. Step back in time with the mid century decor but enjoy the luxury of a rainfall walk in shower, workspace and mini kitchen to prep any meal.

The Hideout

We have updated The Hideout and look forward to welcoming the world back at the end of summer 2025!! The Hideout grew from a vision we had when we moved to the Coast in 2020. With the desire to share our dream of living amongst the trees, tucked away from the world, The Hideout was created. Wrapped in hand milled cedar, fir and hemlock this space was designed to remind us to slow down, breathe deep and take it all in.
