This recently renovated annexe offers a relaxing base in a semi-rural location. Ideal for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers. With its intriguing glass topped well in the floor of the main living area. the Lodge offers a king size double bed (5ft width). Elstree is a self-contained annexe to our house with allocated parking off-road and basic kitchen facilities — suitable for a short break but not for hosting dinner parties! We welcome pets and kids (although we don’t provide specialist things for infants and teenagers might find it a squash!). It is 10 min leisurely walk to the town centre and beautiful Scarborough South Bay beach, all theatres and seaside essentials. A home from home cosy space for peace, quiet and rest.

Within walking distance of both north and south bays & their lovely beaches. Scarborough a tourist attractions include The Open Air theatre , The Spa, SJT, Alpamare , Peasholm Park, Cricket Ground. The living space is open plan with ample space for a couples retreat or family break away. In the summer months dine al fresco and enjoy a BBQ on the private patio besides the wood burning hot tub. A short walk away is our private lake, where you might catch site of a resting deer or hare!

Including Scarborough, Bridlington, Filey, Whitby, also york,Malton , Beverly, Yorkshire moors, and RSPB bempton cliffs. Spend your days walking on the beach or moors and wolds, then enjoy a drink at our village pub, then back to the cottage to sit by the log burner.
