We’ve recently (2021) renovated an apple store and stable in our garden into a beautiful space. You can spot the restored apple picking ladders and exposed bricks from the original building. Located in the heart of Dishforth Village it’s walking distance a village drinking pub and a five minute drive to the award winning Crab & Lobster restaurant and The Angel at Topcliffe.

The Old Telephone Exchange - surrounded by fields!

The original Telephone Exchange is located in the picturesque village of Bishop Monkton. Now converted to a cosy holiday cottage situated between Harrogate and the cathedral city of Ripon. Nearby is Fountains Abbey, Lightwater Valley and Newby Hall. Blessed with open fields on 3 sides, which includes a lovely spot to sit outside and unwind or watch the sunsets. The famous spa town of Harrogate is also only 25 minutes’ drive away

Separate to our main home, and having wonderful views, guests can visit nearby Fountains abbey, Brimham rocks, Grassington and lots of other lovely places of interest, as well as nearby walks. We have used high quality fittings throughout from Loaf seating, beautiful light fittings, Sophie Conran crockery, SMEG kettle and toaster, as well as featuring art by a local artist David Stead.

The End Place is a self-contained cottage adjoining Moorhouse Cottage. Downstairs is open plan, comprising a fully equipped kitchen and a living area with wood burning stove. A glass wall ensures uninterrupted views across Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, as well as starry-night skyscapes. Upstairs opens out into a magical, fairy-lit, vaulted bedroom with a king size brass bed adorned with crisp linen and includes en suite with shower.
