The Snug at Mill Barn - rural retreat

Tucked away in a peaceful location, this new open plan conversion was finished in September 2019. Completed to a high standard, this cosy space provides an idyllic hideaway. Stockland and Steart Marshes can be accessed immediately opposite the Snug and the coast is five minutes drive away. Ideal for country walks, cycling and bird watching. The Vault

The Vault is a really special space, which we hope you can see from the photographs. It is a basement studio apartment with its own private entrance. It is quiet and cosy with underfloor heating and an ambient temperature all year round. This property is very central, making it easy to plan your visit. We are very close to the harbour and the property is on the famous Georgian Square, Queen Square. It feels like you have stepped into a film from Jane Austen as you come out of the building.

Ancient beech, ash and oak woodland rise to the Iron Age fort on Danesborough hill. Whortleberries abound in Summer on the bracken and heather covered slopes. The coast is a 15 minute drive or an hours gentle walk to Kilve. Need more room? Then try its neighbour, and big sister, 'Gorgeous Quantock House'.
