Dorothy’s place Bowness on Windermere

Dorothy’s place is part of an 18th Century Villa. Adults only no children allowed. Everything you need for that perfect romantic break. Guests get full use of the large garden and woodland to take in the stunning view. If travelling by train our advice would be get a taxi from the station as can be difficult to find on foot . Guests are welcome to park up as early as you want before check in or drop luggage off in a safe place,but please let us know in advance.

The loft is part of fell Gap cottage, a traditional Lakeland house set in woodland and close to the border of the Lake District National Park. It is situated at first floor level and is accessed via external steps and a balcony area. It is ideally situated for visiting the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales and the Arnside and Silverdale AONB.
